Who built this?

My name is Manjeet Singh. I run a shop called Basics in Karsog, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh — a small town in the hills where internet tools that "just work" without requiring uploads or logins are genuinely useful.

I also run karsog.com, a local information portal for Karsog Valley, and I have been involved in RTI (Right to Information) activism — filing applications against local government departments to improve transparency and accountability.

That RTI background is part of why the RTI Generator on this site is more accurate and detailed than anything else available — I have filed RTIs myself and know what a proper application looks like.

Why I built ToolNinja

Most free tool websites are built for international audiences — they don't understand Indian-specific needs like Aadhaar masking, Kruti Dev to Unicode conversion, government exam photo specs, or land unit conversion in Bigha and Kanal.

The tools that do exist for these needs are usually slow, ad-heavy, require you to upload your sensitive documents to unknown servers, or demand account creation. That's not acceptable when you're dealing with your Aadhaar number, your salary slip, or your ID documents.

ToolNinja is built on one principle: your data stays on your device, always. There is no server, no database, no account. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript — the same technology that powers your bank's online portal.

What makes ToolNinja different

The tools I'm most proud of

These tools are genuinely hard to find anywhere else as free, browser-based tools:

Contact and feedback

If a tool is not working correctly, a format is wrong, or you have a suggestion for a new tool that India needs — you can reach out via WhatsApp at +91 7018485157 or through the karsog.com contact.

Feedback from actual users is how this site gets better. If you are a government employee, CA, teacher, or RTI activist who has suggestions for how to improve a tool — I want to hear from you.

All 56 tools are free, open, and ready to use — no signup needed.
