1. Paste Chanakya text
2. Unicode Hindi
0 characters
Tips
- Paste only the Hindi part — English words in the same text get changed too, because Chanakya uses English keys for Hindi letters.
- Copy from the Word or PageMaker file as it is. If Word turned straight quotes into curly ones, leave them: Chanakya uses ‘ ’ “ ” for च् and ज्.
- A word comes out wrong? Write it in the box at the end of the page (what you pasted and what it should be) and we will fix it.
- Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved.
Kaise use karein
- Chanakya font wala Hindi text copy karke pehle box mein paste karein.
- Doosre box mein Unicode Hindi turant ban jaata hai.
- Copy karein ya .txt file download karein — Word, WhatsApp, kahin bhi chalega.
Dhyan dein
Sirf Hindi hissa paste karein — saath mein likhe English shabd bhi badal jaate hain.
Questions people ask
What is the Chanakya font?
Chanakya is an old Hindi font made before Unicode. Text typed in it is stored as English letters and symbols, and only the font draws them as Hindi letters. Without the font — on another computer, a phone, WhatsApp or a website — the same text shows as symbols like ×ðÚæ ÖæÚÌ.
Why convert Chanakya to Unicode?
Unicode Hindi reads correctly everywhere — Word, Google Docs, WhatsApp, email, online forms and search — with any Hindi font such as Mangal or Nirmala UI. Chanakya text needs the font on every device that opens it.
How do I convert my Chanakya file?
Open the file in Word (or the program it was typed in), select the Hindi text, copy it and paste it in the first box. The Unicode Hindi appears in the second box straight away — copy it or download it as a .txt file.
Some English words in my text got changed — why?
Chanakya uses English keys and symbols for Hindi letters, so the converter cannot tell English words apart from Hindi typed in Chanakya. Convert only the Hindi part, or put the English words back after converting.
A letter comes out wrong. What can I do?
Fonts sold under the Chanakya name are not all the same. Write the word in the box at the end of the page — what you pasted and what it should be — and we will correct the converter.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser; the text is not sent anywhere or saved.
