Word not right? Use aa ee oo for long vowels, capital T D N Sh R for ट ड ण ष ड़, M for ं. A capital letter at the start of a word is read as small, except T and D.

How does English to Hindi typing work here?

Type Hindi words the way they sound, using English letters. Each letter group maps to a Hindi letter by fixed rules shown in the chart, so the result is predictable. There is no dictionary, so a few words need a small spelling tweak (for example aa for ा).

Why is a word slightly wrong?

Hinglish spelling drops the short "a" sound in some words but not others, which no simple rule always gets right. Use the chart: aa, ee, oo for long vowels, T and D for ट and ड, M for ं, N^ for ँ.

Can I use this for Remington or Inscript typing tests?

No — exams need Remington Gail or Inscript keyboards. Practise those in the Hindi typing test.
