How to apply

  1. Yourself, online: sign up on himseva.hp.gov.in, choose the service, fill the form, upload the documents and pay.
  2. Or at a Lok Mitra Kendra (LMK) or a SUGAM centre — they apply for you; their user charge is added to the fee.
  3. Download the confirmation receipt and keep the application number. Use Track Application on HimSeva to see the status, and Verify Certificate to check an issued one.

How do I apply for an income certificate in Himachal Pradesh?
On himseva.hp.gov.in or at a Lok Mitra Kendra / SUGAM centre. Upload residence proof and an affidavit stating the family income from known sources. The fee is ₹20 plus ₹23.60 processing (LMK adds ₹25, SUGAM ₹10).
What documents are needed for the Bonafide Himachali certificate?
Residence proof and a letter or certificate from the Pradhan or any local body head, as listed on HimSeva.
Which HimSeva certificates need a self declaration?
EWS, Unemployment and Land Holding certificates list a self declaration with residence proof and photo identity proof. The Income certificate needs an affidavit instead.
How do I check my HimSeva application status?
Use “Track Application” on himseva.hp.gov.in with your application number. An issued certificate can be checked with “Verify Certificate”. Helpline: 0177-3525111.
Is a copy of the Pariwar Register available online?
Yes, on HimSeva: search your family by Parivar ID, Aadhaar number or advanced search. No documents are needed; the fee is ₹2 plus ₹11.80 processing.
