For the best result
- Take the photo straight from above, in daylight, with the page filling the frame and the text sharp.
- Printed text reads well. Handwriting, very small or faded print, and stylish fonts come out with mistakes — read the text through before you use it.
- Choose the language that is in the picture: Hindi only is faster and better for an all-Hindi page.
- Text sideways or upside down? Press “Read again turned 90°”.
Kaise use karein
- Photo ya scanned PDF chunein — Hindi, English ya dono.
- Text kuch second mein box mein aa jaata hai — galti ho to wahin theek karein.
- Copy karein ya .txt download karein.
Dhyan dein
Saaf, seedhi photo se sabse achha nateeja aata hai. Haath ki likhawat theek se nahi padhi jaati.
Questions people ask
How do I copy text from a photo?
Choose the photo (or a scanned PDF), pick the language that is in it, and the text appears in the box in a few seconds. Correct anything that came out wrong, then press Copy text or download it as a .txt file.
Does it read Hindi?
Yes. Choose “Hindi + English” for a page with both, or “Hindi only” for an all-Hindi page. You get Unicode Hindi that you can paste into Word, WhatsApp or a form. Printed Hindi reads best; handwriting does not read well.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The reading engine runs inside your browser, on your phone or computer. The picture is never sent anywhere; only the engine itself is downloaded from this site the first time.
Why are some words wrong?
Reading text from pictures is never perfect. Blurred or dark photos, small or faded print, handwriting and decorative fonts cause mistakes. A sharp, straight photo in daylight gives the best result — always read the text through before you use it.
Can it read a scanned PDF?
Yes, the first 10 pages of a PDF. A PDF locked with a password must be unlocked first (Unlock PDF). If your PDF already has selectable text, you can simply copy it from the PDF instead.
Can I get the text in Kruti Dev?
The text comes out in Unicode. To get Kruti Dev, copy it into the Unicode to Kruti Dev converter.
