Fat and SNF
Many dairies pay by the kilograms of fat and SNF (solids-not-fat) in the milk, at their own rates. Enter each day or shift from your slip — milk, fat % and SNF % — and the rates from your dairy’s chart. The page adds it up; the dairy’s own slip decides the payment.

Questions people ask
How is milk payment worked out from fat and SNF?
Milk kg × fat % ÷ 100 gives kg of fat; the same with SNF %. Multiply each by your dairy’s rate per kg and add them. In litres, the milk is first turned into kg (about 1.03 kg a litre — change it to your dairy’s figure).
What rate should I use?
Your dairy’s own rate chart or slip — every dairy and season has its own. The page does not assume a rate.
Can I take off cattle feed or an advance?
Yes — enter the deductions and what they were for; the PDF shows the payable amount in words.
Is my data uploaded?
