Diagonal laying and many small rooms need more extra — raise the cutting percentage. Ask the shop how many tiles come in one box of the tile you choose and enter it to get boxes. Keep a few spare tiles from the same batch.

Questions people ask
How many tiles do I need?
Floor area ÷ the area of one tile, plus extra for cutting and breakage (10 % by default). Enter each room and your tile size; the page also gives boxes if you enter tiles per box.
How many 2×2 tiles in 100 sq ft?
One 600 × 600 mm tile covers about 3.87 sq ft, so about 26 tiles before the extra — enter 10 × 10 ft on the page to see it with your extra.
