What is a UPI QR code?
A UPI QR code encodes your UPI ID (and optionally an amount) so anyone can scan it with any UPI app — PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM — and pay you instantly without typing your UPI ID manually.
Should I set a fixed amount or leave it blank?
For shops and stalls where the amount varies, leave the amount blank — customers will enter the amount themselves. For fixed services or subscriptions, set a specific amount to reduce errors.
How do I display the QR code at my shop?
Download the PNG — it is large enough to print sharp at A5 or A4 — print it at any print shop, laminate it and place it at your counter. You can also share it digitally on WhatsApp or your Instagram bio.
Is this QR code safe to share publicly?
Yes. A UPI QR code only allows people to send you money — not receive or withdraw. Sharing your UPI QR publicly is completely safe.
