What KB size does SSC require for photo upload? ›
SSC requires a passport-size photo of 200×230 pixels in JPG format with file size between 20KB and 50KB. Use the 50KB target in this tool. For signature, SSC requires 140×60 pixels between 10KB and 20KB.
Why does the result show a slightly different KB than the target? ›
The tool uses binary search compression to get as close as possible to the target. The result is always at or below the target KB. Minor differences of 1–3KB are normal due to how JPEG encoding works.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere? ›
No. Your image is processed entirely using the HTML5 Canvas API inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server. Your photo stays on your device throughout the process.
