Class and topic

Objectives and aids

Introduction

Put a | between the question and the expected answer. A last question pupils cannot answer leads to the topic.

Presentation

Use | between the columns. Leave “board work” out if you like.

Ending

Everything you type stays in your browser — nothing is uploaded or saved.

Check it against your college’s format before you print.

The five steps in this format

  1. Preparation — objectives, teaching aids and the pupils’ previous knowledge.
  2. Introduction — a few questions that start from what pupils know and lead to the topic, then the announcement of the topic.
  3. Presentation — each teaching point with what the teacher does, what the pupils do, and the board work.
  4. Recapitulation — short questions on what was taught.
  5. Evaluation and homework.

This is the common Herbartian layout used in teacher-training practice. Colleges and boards differ — if yours gives its own format or a set number of objectives, follow that.

Questions people ask

What is the format of a B.Ed lesson plan?
A common format has a header (class, subject, topic, date, duration), general and specific objectives, teaching aids, previous knowledge, an introduction with questions, the announcement of the topic, a presentation table (teaching point, teacher activity, pupil activity, board work), recapitulation, evaluation and homework. Follow your college’s format if it gives one.
Can I make the lesson plan in Hindi?
Yes. Choose हिन्दी above the form: the headings become पाठ योजना, सामान्य उद्देश्य, विशिष्ट उद्देश्य, प्रस्तावना, प्रस्तुतीकरण, पुनरावृत्ति, मूल्यांकन, गृहकार्य. Type your content in Hindi.
How do I fill the presentation table?
One line per teaching point, with a | between the columns: point | teacher activity | pupil activity | board work. Each line becomes one row of the table.
Does it work for D.El.Ed and other subjects?
Yes. The layout is the same for any subject and class; you write the content.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The lesson plan is made in your browser and the PDF is created on your device.
