Print size

Printing it at the right size

  • Photo shop: give the JPG and ask for a print of the same size. The file is exactly that shape at 300 DPI, so nothing is cut off by surprise.
  • At home: print the PDF at 100% / Actual size — “Fit to page” changes the size. Choose “A4 paper at home” to print smaller sizes on A4 and cut them out.
  • A phone photo is 3:4 or 9:16, while 4 × 6 is 2:3 — so “Fill the paper” cuts a little off the edges. Choose “Whole photo” to keep everything with white margins.
