Tips
- Type names in Hindi or English. Write each person once, under their father or mother, with “-” marks for the generation.
- Daughters who married into another family can stay in your tree with their husband after “+”.
- A big family fits on A4 lying; if names get too small, make one tree per branch, or ask a print shop to print the PDF on A3.
- For an official vanshavali / family register certificate (land mutation, succession, schemes), the panchayat secretary, patwari or the revenue office issues it in their own format. This chart helps you prepare and check the names; it is not that certificate.
