Do I upload a photo file for JEE Main 2027?
No ready-made photo file: page 8–9 of the NTA Information Bulletin says the photograph is a live photo, taken while you fill the form — switch on the webcam, or if the device has none, scan the QR code with a phone and take it there. It must be in colour with 80% of the face visible (including ears), no mask, against a white background in good light. Sit in front of a plain white wall before you start.
What is the last date for JEE Main 2027 Session 1?
As per the Information Bulletin (page 5): apply and pay by 22 November 2026, 11:50 PM. With a ₹500 late fee: 23–26 November 2026. Correction window: 27–29 November 2026. City slip: 30 December 2026; admit card: 13 January 2027; exams on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2027. Session 2: apply 5 January – 3 February 2027, exams 2–7 April 2027.
What is the JEE Main 2027 application fee?
For one paper at a centre in India (Information Bulletin page 6): General ₹1,000 (male) / ₹800 (female); Gen-EWS and OBC-NCL ₹900 / ₹800; SC, ST and PwD/PwBD ₹500; third gender ₹500. Processing charges and GST are extra, and the late fee is ₹500 for everyone.
