At the police station

Give the application at the police station of the area where it happened and ask for a receipt or copy with the date (keep a photocopy). Questions people ask

How do I write an application to the police station?
Address it to the SHO (थाना प्रभारी) of the police station, give a subject, your name and address, the date, time and place, what happened point by point, anyone responsible, loss or injury, witnesses, and ask for action.
Can I write it in Hindi?
Yes — choose हिन्दी and पुरुष / महिला; the verbs follow. The PDF is then saved as a picture so the letters print correctly.
Is this an FIR?
No — it is your written complaint. The police decide how to register it. Ask for a receipt or copy with the date.
Is my data uploaded?
