Questions people ask
How do I make a quotation?
Fill your business name and address, the customer, the quotation number and the valid-till date, then add each item with its quantity, unit and rate. The quotation with totals and the amount in words appears on the right — download it as a PDF or share it on WhatsApp.
Can I add GST to a quotation?
Yes. Choose CGST + SGST, IGST or one GST line, and type each item’s GST rate. The quotation shows the tax for each rate. If you are not registered, or your rates already include tax, leave it on “No GST”.
What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?
A quotation is an offer — the price you will charge if the customer agrees, valid till a date. An invoice is the bill after the sale. When the customer accepts, make the bill with the GST Invoice or Simple Invoice tool.
Can I add a discount and terms?
Yes — a discount in rupees (taken off before tax), round-off to the nearest rupee, your own terms (validity, payment, delivery) and your bank or UPI details.
Does it work for long lists of items?
Yes. Long quotations continue on more pages, and the totals, terms and signature come on the last page.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything is made inside your browser; nothing is sent or saved.
