The handover note records the date, time, odometer and what was handed over — it does not transfer the registration. For a sale, also make the Vehicle Sale Letter and fill Form 29 and 30 for the RC transfer.

What is a vehicle handover note?
A short record, signed by both, of when a vehicle was handed over, to whom, with its odometer reading, fuel, papers and keys, and its condition.
Does it transfer the vehicle?
No. For a sale, the registration is transferred through the RTO with Form 29 and 30.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The note is made in your browser and the PDF is created on your device.
