Tips

  • Paste the columns from your register in Excel — Name, Class, Roll no., Father’s name, DOB, Blood group, Phone, Address. Only Name is needed; a detail shows on a card only when it has a value.
  • Photos: put them all in one folder named by roll number, then choose them all at once — or send the folder as a ZIP. Unmatched photos and students without a photo are listed above the preview.
  • Print at 100% / “Actual size” on 250–300 gsm card or photo paper; each card is 85.6 × 54 mm, the size of an ATM card, so it fits a standard ID card pouch or lamination.
  • Double-sided: choose “Print backs on the next page”. The backs are placed mirror-wise, so after you turn the sheet over (along the long edge) each back lands behind its own front. Try one sheet first.

Questions people ask

How do I make ID cards for a whole class or school?
Copy the columns from your student register in Excel (Name, Class, Roll no., Father’s name…) and paste them, or choose the Excel / CSV file. Add the photos, fill the school name once, and download one PDF with 9 or 10 cards on each A4 sheet, ready to print and cut.
How are the photos matched to the students?
By file name: name each photo with the roll / admission number (12.jpg) or the student’s name (Aarav Sharma.jpg), or add a Photo column with the file name. Choose all photos at once, or one ZIP of the folder. The page lists any student without a photo.
What size are the cards?
85.6 × 54 mm — the ISO ID-1 size of an ATM or Aadhaar PVC card — so they fit standard ID card pouches and lamination sleeves. Print at 100% (“Actual size”), not “Fit to page”.
Can I print the back side too?
Yes. Choose “Print backs on the next page”: each sheet of fronts is followed by a sheet of backs placed mirror-wise, so after you turn the paper over along the long edge each back lands behind its own front. Print one test sheet first, as printers differ.
Can I make employee ID cards?
Yes — choose “Staff / employees”: the card then shows Designation and Emp. ID instead of Class and Roll No.
Are the photos uploaded?
No. The list and every photo are read inside your browser; the PDF is made on your device. Nothing is sent or saved.
